With all the leaks indicating one common feature, it is highly likely that Apple will launch its first ever iPhone with two rear cameras this year. However, the dual-lens camera might be available on the bigger iPhone 7 Plus or the iPhone 7 Pro(we’re still not sure of the name yet), and not the smaller model iPhone 7.
A couple of alleged production plates have been leaked from China of the iPhone 7 along with a schematic showing a wider camera opening for the iPhone 7 Plus to hold two camera sensors.
Have a look at these pictures:
Earlier Apple leaks have also indicated that the plans to come up with a dual-lens camera in the upcoming iPhone 7 model but there has been no final word as to it will come in both the versions or the iPhone 7 Plus model only. However, the housing plate does not stay in sync with the new flash design leak that surfaced a few days back.
These leaked molds came from a Chinese supply chain partner and if these are to be believed, there would be no Smart Connector in both the iPhone models. A previous iPhone 7 case leak also suggested the presence of four speaker grilles.
Apple will launch the new iPhone models, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus later this year in fall. The product is in full flow and that too in huge numbers.
