Apple has now come up with a new ad showing off the hands-free Siri feature on the iPhone 6s where the famous actor Neil Patrick Harris is practicing a thank you speech with Siri. In iPhone 6s, Siri can be activated using voice commands even when the phone is not plugged in to power. All in all, a fun little Siri promo.
In the ad, Neil asks Siri to read out one of his Notes and he wants to keep his hands free to use the gestures he would use during the speech. Now, he speaks along with the robotic Siri voice while thanking his family and others and in the end concludes, “I’ll sound more natural.”
With Apple promoting a lot on the hands-free Siri feature, one of the previous iPhone 6s ads had a Cookie Moster asking Siri to set a timer and play some music while his treats bake. It was in iOS 8 that users were allowed to use the ‘Hey, Siri’ feature when the device was power plugged. However, iOS 9 removes this pre-requisite and users can do it whenever required. It is really handy at times. I have used it much to change music tracks when my iPhone is connected through the Aux in the car and I am driving.
