With a little over a month away from the launch of the much-talked-about iPhone 7, a new iPhone 7 Plus leak mockup has been captured in a video. However, unlike all the previous leaks, this looks a little more interesting.
The leaked mockup in question is by far the most accurate representation of the iPhone 7 Plus and also shows off a new blue finish that could finally let go off the space grey variant which currently exists.
As per a report which came in earlier from a Japanese blog Macotakara, the ‘deep blue’ variant would join the existing rose gold, gold and silver variants in iPhone 7 next month whereas the very popular space grey model could be dropped this time around.
Check out this video by Lewis Hilsenteger of Unbox Therapy:
“This thing has this kind of blue-ish, purple-ish tone to it,” describes Hilsenteger. It’s “a very unusual color for Apple; it doesn’t exist anywhere else in the product line. Personally I think it would be very cool to see an iPhone in this shade.”
The video also focuses on some of the expected design changes like the dual-lens camera and the redesigned antenna bands. The Smart Connector can also be spotted at the bottom edge of the iPhone but there is no surity yet if it would make in into the final version.
In the video above, the iPhone 7 Plus looks a little thinner than the existing iPhone 6s Plus but then, it is just a mockup. We still do not know what the actual device might look like until it is eventually launched.
What are your thoughts on the new blue finish in the iPhone 7 Plus?
